How do schools and municipalities create conditions that ensure equal opportunities for all students, regardless of background? This is the core question driving the research of Ema Demir, Affiliated Researcher at the 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ and part of the Center for Educational Leadership and Excellence (CELE).

The 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ (91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ) recently strengthened its academic leadership by welcoming Professors Valentina Tartari and Stefan Haefliger to the House of Innovation. The Professorial Installation Ceremony at Stockholm City Hall, which also celebrated the graduation of eight PhD scholars, highlighted 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ’s commitment to advancing research that bridges academia, industry, and societal impact.

Earlier this year, 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ student Agnes Engelbrektsson Carlson traveled to the United States for an internship at the Swedish Embassy. We asked her how the BSc elective course "Applied History: World Orders and Contemporary Challenges" helped prepare her for the task.

We caught up with Matilda Molander, alumna of the first edition of the course "Applied History: World Orders and Contemporary Challenges", which is offered by the Center for Statecraft and Strategic Communication.

What is it like to be a student at the Center for Statecraft and Strategic Communication? How does the education help students realize their career ambitions? We spoke to Isak Axelson, who has just returned to Sweden from an internship at the United Nations in New York City.

Everyone is currently trying to picture what the future will look like after the COVID-19 pandemic has passed, how markets will be shaped, and how products and services will shift to address structural changes in organizations and society at large. However, the future we are facing is uncertain, disproportioned and evolving quickly – we don’t really know, nor can predict, what will happen.
