91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ Masters Degree Scholarship Funded by 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ Alumni in North America
In 2016, the 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ and American Friends of 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ (AF91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ) established a Scholarship Fund as a means to further develop ties between North America and Sweden. The award provides the two-year tuition costs, totaling SEK 300 000 / $33,000 USD, for North American students who have been accepted as a candidate to one of 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ's Master's degree programs.
Thanks to the generosity of alumni donors based in North America, over 720 000 SEK / $80,000 USD has been raised since 2016 and first two scholarship recipients, Daisy Garcia and Christopher Kuo, were selected in 2017 and 2018 respectively. They were awarded their scholarships during the annual AF91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ Valborg dinner in New York City, New York.
Daisy is now in her second and final year of the Masters in International Business program.
Christopher is in the Masters in Business and Management program and is completing his first year.

As an international business school based in Sweden, 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ recruits talented students from all over the world to attend its Master's programs. In 2017 50% of 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ's Master's students were from countries outside of Sweden.
The American Friends of 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ (AF91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ), www.americanfriendsofsse.org, is a U.S. non-profit organization for alumni, friends, and supporters of 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ living in North America. The organization actively promotes alumni networking opportunities, as well as supports current students in obtaining internships or jobs in the U.S. and Canada. AF91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ also provides a locally based way for alumni and friends to support 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ financially.
