Associate Professor Paolo Sodini wins CFR Best paper award 2015

Paolo Sodini together with co-authors Sebastien Betermier and Laurent Calvet were awarded CFR Best paper award at the 14th Colloquium on Financial Markets for their paper â€Who are the Value and Growth Investors?â€
The paper investigates determinants of value and growth investing in a large administrative panel of Swedish residents over the period 1999 – 2007. Strong relationships between household portfolio tilt and household financial and demographic characteristics are documented with value investor having a higher financial and real estate wealth, lower leverage, lower income risk, lower human capital and are more likely to be female than the average growth investor.
